personal project
Inspired by a sibling’s Korean dance performance and a personal love for ink-wash painting, this project reinterprets movement through visual collage. Each frame of the performance was analyzed and reimagined using elements like birds, flowers, gourds, and butterflies, paired with the dancer’s costumes and gestures. The work explores emotional resonance, symbolism, and transformation—capturing stillness, bloom, and rhythm through carefully matched imagery and motion.
